Strategy Sessions
You bring your goals, questions, ideas, and what keeps you up at night. I bring a blend of coaching, facilitation, people strategy, and business planning skills and experiences. Together we dig into your fears and aspirations and co-create action plans together. Need accountability? I got you.
What is it? One-hour sessions on a monthly or bi-monthly basis - fly solo or tag team with a business partner or co-conspirator
What do I get? Space to process and dream. Clarity, focus, peace of mind. A partner to hold you accountable to your goals.
Who is it for? Small businesses, freelancers, creatives, and community organizers who need to:
- Make space for big picture thinking and align on a vision
- Understand what to say yes and no to
- Get to the root of what’s causing stress or friction
- Create a focused, strategic game plan
Pricing
I know cost can be a huge barrier to getting your business off the ground or to the next phase, so I offer sliding scale pricing to meet you where you’re at. You understand your own situation best, so please pick the level that feels right to you. Unfortunately, I am only able to offer a limited number of Level 1 slots because I also need to support myself as a small business, but if there are no Level 1 spots available I can put you on my waitlist and notify you when I have an opening. When you book a Level 3 spot, you make it possible for me to open more Level 1 spots!
Level 1 - $75/session
Consider this level if you are just getting your business started, your net revenue is under $50k/year, or money is tight.
Level 2 - $150/session - At Cost
Consider this level if you are 1-3 years into your business, your net revenue is between $50-100k/year, or you have some middle class privilege.
Level 3 - $225/session
Consider this level if you are 3+ years into your business, your net revenue is over $100k/year, or you have middle to upper class privilege.
At this time, I can offer a 6-month strategy session package at no cost to one individual. Priority goes to Black, Indigenous, Latine, and/or AAPI folks who are actively engaged in community organizing or other social justice work. Serena Fulton
I am a connector, facilitator, and creative strategist. My focus is on helping individuals and groups transform themselves and their relationships through the spaces and containers created to hold work.
The oldest of three children, facilitation is in my bones. From organizing my 7th grade class’ talent show performance, to starting a discussion group in college, to launching a coworking office in my early 20’s, I have always felt called to initiate in ways that bring people together.
I am shaped by the rolling hills and lush forests of rural Pennsylvania, where I learned the art of gathering from elder mentors, peer experimentation, and organizing community art projects.
Blending influences from my background in organizational development, coworking, entrepreneurship, wilderness therapy, and community development, I approach my work through a multi-discipline lens.
Prior to starting my own business, I leveraged my big picture thinking, creative facilitation, and strong project management skills for 5 years at Floricane, an organizational development consultancy based in Richmond, VA. There I worked on a multi-year change management and culture building healthcare initiative, consulted on strategic planning projects, developed onboarding programs, and facilitated team and leadership development trainings as an Insights® Discovery Practitioner.
When not consulting, you can find me organizing with Southerners on New Ground Richmond (SONG), playing pickup with @rvaqueersoccer, going to jazz shows, sharing poetry at open mics, or hosting a potluck. My favorite words are vision, murmuration, and intention (you will probably hear me say them often, don’t say I didn’t warn you).
